• James Edward Lulham was baptized on 1 October 1854 in Upper Beeding, Sussex.  He was a 7 year old scholar in 1861.  In 1871 he was a 16 year old agricultural labourer/shepherd. - Leah Lulham was born about 1858 in Beeding.
